Eating Out, but Still Eating Healthy

My favorite restaurant right now is the Himalayan Kitchen located in Salt Lake City, Utah. I absolutely love the food and service, and although it doesn’t boast its healthy ingredients, I feel like I am eating well every time I go there. I feel like the staff is more a group of friends than servers. They offer a lunch buffet, which at other places doesn’t sound so good, but here it is amazing. I think the buffet is their best option because it offers a variety of food instead of just one plate. Eating healthy is important to me, and I know they use healthy ingredients in all their meals.

Another reason I like supporting them is because the employees are such good people. Almost all of them have come from Nepal and are working here and sending money back to their families. Any tips or compliments they receive make them so happy, and they genuinely appreciate their customers. I feel better when I leave there with a full stomach because I know my money went to a good cause. However, to eat as healthy as possible, it’s always a good idea to cook at home. Cooking at home ensures that you know exactly what ingredients are going into your meals and just how healthy they really are.
