For those of us who work in an office, we know how important it is to have a good IT team. IT, which stands for information technology, is the development, design, implementation and support of information systems…support being the most important to those of us who use computers for three things: Email, surfing the web and writing.
IT guys are those angels with geek gear that we call when our computers won’t work and we’re moments away from throwing them out the window. My advice to anyone who works in an office with an IT team: Suck up to them as much as possible. They may speak a tech language most of us don’t understand but who else can retrieve files that have been lost in the electronic abyss? My next bit of advice for those of you interested in working with computers: Take a few IT classes from your local college. They’ll look great on your resume and give you the skills that make you everyone’s best friend!
