Getting sick is no fun for any of us. Since cold and flu season is in the wintertime during holidays and family time, it’s even worse to get sick. Make sure you are eating well, exercising, and getting the nutrients you need to stay healthy. Also, you might choose to get a flu shot to avoid flu illnesses this season.
I try so hard not to get sick; I take my vitamins, get enough rest, and eat well. But it seems as though it’s almost impossible to be healthy every day of the year. We all get sick at some point. A friend in college is a perfect example of this. She is probably one the healthiest people I know. She’s in great shape and takes amazing care of herself but every year, without fail, she gets really sick every January. We joke that Sarah has the plague illness every year, but unfortunately she really is very, very sick for about a week every year. It proves that it’s important to take care of ourselves, but sometimes getting sick is unfortunately inevitable.
