One thing I would add to this is that you should be keenly aware of your heart rate when jogging. I mention this on my blog, but there are heart rate training zones that will give best results. For example, for burning fat, you might want to stay in a training zone of around 60-70% of your max heart rate. This is the zone where your body uses more fat as a fuel for your run. However, if you&#039;re looking to lose weight you definitely want to consider entering other training zones that maximize your calorie burn too.</description>
