Search Engine Optimization: Is there any point to not go with Google?
Google is the dominant search engine. When your company name becomes a verb, you know you are big, i.e. I “Googled” it. So when you are thinking about which companies to pay for search engine optimization (SEO), or which search engines to sponsor links with, there may be only one choice. There are companies that will SEO your website for every search engine, but at times that may seem like a waste of time.
Maybe you are an exception and use a different search engine, but 95% of the nation uses Google from time to time. You don’t want to miss out on essentially the entire nation. It is important to figure out all of your options, but when it comes down to it you will most likely choose to advertise with Google. It is like putting a billboard in rural Wyoming or right on the Strip in Las Vegas.
