Self Improvement & Trail Running
The best form of self improvement for me is trail running. I prefer this kind as an alternative to the mundane road run because it is more interesting and adds a strength training component to the average workout. I consider it self improvement because it helps me stay fit, stay healthy, and stay mentally alert. Not only do I benefit physically from this exercise but I also benefit mentally by getting out of the city. I really enjoy seeing wildlife like deer and moose.
Other forms of self improvement that I like to partake in include taking job-related classes at my local college, learning to cook healthy meals, and taking yoga to take the stress out of my day. Self improvement is important; we should never stop learning and growing. Self improvement and self reflection help us grow as individuals, form happier and healthier relationships, and live happier more fulfilled lives.
