Starting Over With Health Care
We have so many options for health care. I just moved to a new city and am in the process of finding a good doctor and dentist. I’ve been asking for referrals from friends, but it’s a difficult process. It’s so important to have good health care providers though, in case something happens that you need care. In fact, my good friend was recently injured, (she broke her jaw), and she didn’t have health care insurance. She is filing bankruptcy now, and she is trying to heal at the same time. Times are very difficult for her.
Where I just moved from, I had been going to the same health care provider and dentist since I was born. I never understood why people complained about going to the dentist’s office because I always kind of enjoyed it. There was an absolutely amazing salt water fish tank that I could look at for hours, the fish and plants in it were so beautiful! I guess I probably never feared the dentist because I think that hearing other peoples’ horror stories about the dentist’s office has made me feel like I need to be really picky in finding a new dentist in this new city.
