Supplements can be a good way to help your body get more of what it needs than food can provide. I have a lot of friends who use various types of protein supplements to build muscle mass. I use vitamin supplements to make sure I am getting the important nutrition I need to stay healthy and injury free.

I have one friend who just decided a year ago that he wanted to build a lot of muscle, so he decided to work out and has a protein shake every morning for breakfast. It’s amazing how his body has changed in just about a year. Last year he was a pretty out-of-shape guy and you could tell just by looking at him. Now, his entire body is incredible, and you can see every single little muscle. He’s worked incredibly hard at the gym but he probably wouldn’t see the extreme results without the aid of his morning protein shakes every day.
