To have an interview for a new job is never easy. It is always difficult even when you had a lot of interviews in your past experience and you can remember all of them. You are going at first to visit an office which is unknown to you. You have to meet unfamiliar people, see a new atmosphere. You are going to sell your skills and your self, often having difficult questions concerning your competence in some areas of your work. Let?s consider several advices you should keep in mind about job interview. They will help you to be prepared to the job interview efficiently.

Be ready to answer for several frequently asked questions. They can sound similar to “What do you know about our company”? Or “What are your goals for the next 5 years?” Don’t recite these answers. It won?t help you as you tell it yourself in your own voice. Just think a little how you are going to answer them.
It?s very important to know the name of your interviewer. Use his name during all interview. If you’re not sure of the name, you should find it out.

Make sure you dressed neatly. Your look should be professional and appropriate for the company where you have an interview. But if it’s a casual atmosphere, be dressed according to business casual. Never wear jeans lest they tell permit it. Have a proper portfolio. Make several copies of your resume. The copies might be come in handy to several persons during the interview. Have sheets of paper and a pen you can take notes.

Never be late for the interview. You should come even ten minutes earlier. Go out earlier and estimate your time that can take you to drive to the office ahead of time. You even can make an experiment. Just make a walk there or drive without any reason and therefore you can estimate your time. If somehow, you’re about to late call them immediately. You should apologize and explain the reason and time when you expect to be at the office. When you arrive don?t forget to give you apologies again.
